fordgtman : I can't find at the moment anything that shows how many shots one could get from propane or green gas, but I'll worry about that later. Jon : The green thing in this diagram is a spool valve. It releases a fixed amount of air in a burst so there is no waste expenditure of gas. I the dia...

Do you think I will have a problem concerning that? The Propane is expanding a lot in the spool valve chamber. If I keep air spaces tight yet be able to operate do you think I could pull it off or will that not work? Would you recommend a propane regulator? Thanks for that I didn't think of that at ...

Thanks. One thing I'm not sure about so far is the volume of the spool valve. I don't want to have this thing shoot 600+ fps and give off a large amount of propane gas like 4 cubic inches. Do you guys have a guess to what volume I should use for the spool valve?

The COAL-MAN was to maintain copyright integrity :p Will I have any problems with getting the spring tension just right? Or is there a reasonably broad range of strength the spring could have? I know that propane has about 40-80 psi of gas, but does any body know the specific psi bottle propane is a...

So I guess there will be no problem concerning the propane being in liquid state? If this works out, I hope for this gun to last a long time with 1 tank. Tippmann created a (C-3) which ran off of propane, but it actually ignited the propane and air in a controlled chamber. The C-3 can get more than ...

Green gas/ Propane airsoft gun design (non ignition)

When You pull back the light green thing it shuts off the gas in the rear, but opens in the front. As the propane travels through the yellow vented circular supports, it pushes the blue power tube / air nozzle. When it reaches a certain point, the air can rush through the center and into the hop-up ...
