Propane. According to my calculations I should be using my meter at 40.6 PSI. When it does fire (like 1 out of 100 clicks) it packs a punch, it doesn't sound like a shot with too much or too little fuel. I have also tried experimenting as low as 20 PSI and as much as 70 PSI and every where in betwee...

So I went to shoot it today. Ran into problems... It fires maybe 1 out of 100 times. I know it cant be a metering problem. I have done the math over and over and am sure I am putting the right about of fuel in. When it does fire it packs a really big punch. When I look in the chamber I can see the s...

I made this advanced compustion with all the bells and whistles I could manage. It has: -2 spark gaps (powered by bbq ignitor) -on-board metered propane -f...

In my small town in the middle of Arizona, guns are just a part of life. I remember when I lived in the big city of Phoenix I would see a person with a pistol at their side once in a while. People seemed to be so nervous when they saw that. I was more wierded out by their reaction to seeing a gun th...

Here is my vote! Haha, in all seriousness though, I think a spray combustion is kinda out of the question since dog chewing on aresol can = bad. A metered propane setup is a lot easier than you may think. It is a lot more portable than pn...

Oh BBQ sparkers work great. I have used one on a launcher with 3 spark gaps and had no problems. I actually replaced my stun gun with the sparker because I was tired of changing batteries.

Love the cannon and that monster ball valve vent is kickass.

Do I see 2 spark gaps there? Thats a nice little upgrade from the average first spray and pray cannon. I also like the ball valve to speed up the fueling. Adding a fan would make more of a difference than you might think, though it looks like that would involve a hack saw.
