Trebuchet

I'm planning on building a trebuchet this summer and I was just curious if anyone here has ever made one. It probably won't be all that big, maybe 3' to 4' high and about the same for the base. I'm also going to use bolts on the main parts so I can disassemble it and put it into the trunk of my car....

They were on some show awhile ago where they were shooting at cars.
I was surprised at how accurate it was and that the pumkin went through the cars!

I think they won like $1000 worth of power tools.

I have a Tippmann A-5 and I use a 14" 32degree barrel.

I want to get either a phantom stock pump or an ion next.

Idea for first pneumatic, 60mm Mortar

I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so I figured I'd just post it here. Sorry for such a long post, but there's alot to say and pretty much everyone I've mentioned this to hasn't been interested, so I'm dying to talk about it. This is an idea I have for my first pneumatic that I'm planning on bu...

I'm planning on buying the same type of sprinkler valve listed in the tutorial (also sold by sputech).
How do I find the flow coefficient for it, I can't find anything for it online.
What valve type would I use for it in the GGDT?

There's so many different kinds of check valves, which one would be the best to use? I'm planning getting the 0 - 100 gauge( link ) from spudtech. Would the " Brass Spring-Loaded Piston " check valve from mcmaster work ok for it? Is it a good idea to put something like loctite on the check valve to ...

Most co2 tanks come with an o-ring on them. I already have them on my ones for paintball. I think what I'm gonna do is buy these( HSL C/A to 1/8in NPT Adapter , AVI Quick Disconnect Part ) and then attach them together and to the chamber. Then I can hook up my remote coil right to it or if I want la...

I was just doing some searching and found that you can buy the nipples for like $4.00 at actionvillage (link).
On my remote the thing has something holding the ASA adapter onto the threads of the nipple, so I didn't want to mess that up so I could still use it for paintball (just in case).

Co2 Questions

I've been considering making my first launcher Co2, just because I don't want to spend the energy pumping or have to use an electric pump to fill it up. I did a search on co2 stuff and couldn't find anything to answer my questions. I was playing with a remote coil ( Link ) I have for paintball and w...

The main reason to build this is just that it's my first gun.
I don't really care about accuracy as long as it fires consitenty and doesn't blow up in my hands or fail miserably.

Ofcourse, I won't be dissapointment if it hits soemthing. ;)
