Its an interesting idea but complex. It allows Murphy's law to work really well. What you might look at it is the extending the barrel just a little so you can put on a threaded adapter and use a larger barrel for the projectiles...

That's a pretty sweet gun the SCH40 steel pipe should be fine for what you are using it for...I tried to do that with a small combustion but it didn't work so well...the combustion proved to be too finicky...

I dont know about soda cans though becuase I just think its kind of thick

I've just got to ask again at what pressures did they test the denim blue jean blast shield...the actual burst pressure for sch 40 4inch PVC pipe is past 250 PSI given that most people don't take it to more then 150-200 PSI I wouldn't think an explosive failure would be a huge risk even if it did ...

Honesty though how many teenagers make tazers from old cameras. How many more know that stores give them away for free? Most are likely to pay the 3-4 bucks to get a hold of one and do it that way. But I guess ...
