I bet there is some of that stuff sitting around my house(I have a lot of random things like this) Ill sprikle a bit in one of my lung powered BBMG(dont have a compressor) and see what happens Surely the water vapour in your breath will make the powder all clumpy and horrible? I could be wrong, its ...

I suppose a Panzer would be a bloody obvious target.

I would rather a smaller vehicle mthan a Panzer.
Possibly with less height than that pics one.

But that still doesnt detract from its Rad-ness.

You can scavenge.

But if you want to be here in a few months time, I wouldnt use scavenged parts on any launcher above 80 psi.

Therefore you have to buy most parts.
In Britain either they dont sell what you want, or they do, but its outrageously expensive.

MaxUs speaks the truth about prices in the UK. Sch40 stuff doesnt really exist anywhere near where I live. I have to buy stuff from England that is 135psi rated. Blowguns do not exist. Prices are high. That said, copper is, as Maxus says, rather cheap (relative to plastic). To get materials I just g...

I dont think anybody will be able to go smaller than this. [sarcasm] For example those sparkers are... 1 3/8" long! However, you can actually remopve that shiny metal end bit, and it goes down to... 1 1/4" long!!!!! OHMYTGODYOUCANREDUCETHELENGTHOFYOURCOMBUSTIONBY1/8"!!!! Am I the only one so exited?...

Thats a pretty good idea, I do occasionally find mutant BBs that look like two stuck together, and halves of BBs, but Ill have to live with those.

Thanks people!

Ok, I have here a barrel that would fit a BB very snugly, I shall use that instead of a larger barrel I was planning on using.

Cloud and Vortex efficiency

Suppose you had two bb guns, one relying on the "cloud" method and the other the "vortex" method. Their barrels, chambers and all those measurements are all the same, same dia, same length, thus same volume. Would one of these use less air to acheive a higher ROF, higher FPS, and thus be more effici...

I've never tried to make a vortex block for paintballs, but I imagine that if the center of the block wasn't perfectly smooth that it would break the balls. Yup, it would bust your balls up pretty good. Had to say that. Anyway, to get to the speeds needed for this to work, you would need a higher p...

Hmmm...

Yes, I had realised just how luittle actual energy you would get from the DDT.
The thing I wasnt so sure about was the thickness of materials or types of mnaterials needed.

I suppose this would be too heavy and long, you wouldnt get much from it.

Detonation Powered Cannon?

Ive been thinking about this for a while (yes, even before that video was posted), how about a Combustion gun powered by Detonation, not Deflagation. More power you see. I know that roughly 20 meters of pipe (dunno the ID) can cause a Detonation when an optimum mixture of propane is ignited at one e...

A hybrid at 204x? I know nothing of hybrids, but isnt that rather powerful (I use the term "rather" rather loosely here) I nwas thinking of hydrogen and Oxygen as my fuel, I could get the power to electrolize it from my numerous solar panels, sure Itd be slow, but every few days I could fire it. Sto...
