Hey Guys,
These are shots of a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood(not osb). I shot a 1 1/2 inch non frozen potato slug at it at about 90 psi and the plywood got rocked.
Made a huge dent in the front and the back of the sheet cracked.

So, now I want to figure out a projectile I can punch through it with ...

I nominate sidewalk chalk with a little duct tape wrapped around the base to make it fit the barrel tightly. Its like a paintball with a more sickening crack and a powdery explosion. Its fun for shooting when I have no printers, plywood, or car hoods to shoot at.

I would agree with DYI (obviously) that longer wires would make the best school project grade wires. I don't understand the nature of the project, so I can't weigh in on whether or not a hybrid is appropriate. If your parents are paying for the materials, then by all means you should build a hybrid ...

Thats a very nice looking sniper there. Excellent idea to layer the stock for a little extra protection. The scope also looks really, really nice.

Thanks Soren, I modified my plans so now I have a dual chamber and a single chamber that I can thread on there
All made possible by the 45 feet of 2" pvc pipe in my garage.

I am usually very suspicious of these things... especially since there is already so many great types of epoxy available for a lot cheaper.

But I encourage you too buy some so that you can test it

In the world of spuds today, I built the chambers and the barrels for the mauler valve that I bought from launchpotatoes.com. I built a 1", 1 1/2", and a 2", with a soda can barrel on the way.

I also built the pilot setup, so that when the valve gets shipped to me, i'll have to thread in three ...

Most of them have an auto shut off if you try to overwork it (consumer grade) but I don't you could use it to fill an air tank. good luck
