I think I'm going to alter the configuration to a side connection. It'll be interesting to see if that changes the heating location. Air warms up when compressed and cools when it expands. Got a new valve and I'm all set. I'm now using a Lawn Genie 1" anti-siphon 180 degree valve and it sounds very good. It has a much better solenoid design compared to the Rain Bird with bigger ports. Flaming tennis balls?
I had my new gun out for the first time this weekend and the biggest hit were the tennis balls. We were getting about seven seconds of hang time for empty balls fired straight up.
I'm wondering if anyone has a method for getting the balls to burn in flight?
