4" to 2" Bell Reducer as a Cannonizer???

Do you think it would be safe to add a 4" to 2" bell reducer on the end of my 2" barrel to act as a cannonizer. I don't think it should be a problem and it should channel the sound in the direction of my target so it seems louder. Besides I think it would look cool.

You say you removed the sping from inside the valve of the cp-100, I was told not to do that. Guess you can't believe everything you hear here. From what I read it seems you can do it either way. It seemed to give me a slight increase in performance. It seemed that the spring was causing the valve ...

Looks good, a little cumbersome, but good. :) Since it’s now a little to big for paintball, might I suggest a longer barrel as the next upgrade. I was thinking the same thing....If this works I can still use it for castle games. When your defending the castle you don't have to move around much. So ...

Glued your fitting to the valve? Not a problem, cut off the pipe that attaches to them and glue the fittings in a piece of 1.5 inch PVC, it may take some sanding be it’ll work. I never thought of that, that might be a better option. I think I might try the bigger air chamber first. I'm Just curious...

With that first design with the 3 chambers, if you build it, try and buff the fittings up together so you can't see any pipe between the four way cross and the eblows :) That's what I am planning on doing. I hope lowes carries sch 40 2" pvc crosses and elbows, I think they do. I have extra pipe lef...

What if I reduced the bore size of the barrel? lets say to 1" Then a 1" sprinkler is closer to ideal (for a sprinkler) for a 1" barrel. If you go with a 2' barrel length and keep the tank the same, you'll have roughly 2:1 c:b ratio. A 4' barrel roughly 1:1. Depending on projectile weight, both good...

Thanks, I'm trying to keep the gun as compact as possible, it's slowly growing in size....lol. I might have to scrap the whole PB idea and just make a fun cannon to play with.

I got the same results from "ggdt". Actual performance differs greatly, I think the flow is being restricted too much. I think I will just expand the air chamber and see what happens. I will probably not see a big increase in power but I plan to extpand the air chamber to 50" using a "T" connector a...

I have fired it at 90psi. I removed the saftey tip on my blowgun and also removed the spring from inside the cp-100 valve. Those 2 simple things helped a LOT. It's still not powerful enough. I think a smaller bore size barrel will help. I have been doing some more research and seems that your projec...

3 air chambers??? Is there a better way??? (UPDATED new pic)

This is what I came up with. I added a 60" air chamber for more power. I hope this helps. For now I have to wait until the glue dries. <a href="http://s273.photobucket.com/albums/jj231/YerBallsRshowin/?action=view¤t=0410081800a.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i273.photobucket.com/albums/...

Get a quarter inch gate valve and place it between the valve and pilot. It takes several turns to fully open, so you don’t have to worry about it tripping the main valve when you open it like you would with a ball valve. EDIT: when I told you I thought I saw a blowgun with a safety I was mistaken, ...

I do not get why you would do al that work for just safety :D . Just be carefull with a trigger thats all Ok, I forgot to clarify that I will be using this as a paintball grenade launcher and I don't want to accidentally shoot anyone becuase the trigger could go off pretty easily running around wit...

Do they make blowguns with a safety???

Ok I have done some searching but have come up short. Do they make blowguns with a safety (like on a hand gun)that prevents you from pushing down the trigger??? The only thing that I have come up with so far is using some type of clip to keep the trigger from pressing down. See picture below. <a hre...
