That's your side of the pond, but still, 83$ for a book? That's quite a bit.

I've had a quick look, but couldn't find much comprehensible advice.

Here's the part I think will cause me difficulty in terms of getting it to seal

Mafs and Problems

OK, so I've done some math. I was planning a hammer valve, but unfortunately I just figured out that if the valve stem had a radius of 3mm, (Diam=6mm) then a pressure of 400psi (0.28123 kg/mm2) would exert 7.95kg. To clarify; 0.2812 (3^2 pi) = ~8kg 8kg is too much force for as small a hammer as I ha...

The VCR act is a pain, but I suppose it makes sense.

Do you know of any loopholes or ways around it?

Thanks, I'll have a look. Are you from the UK as well?

EDIT: That barrel is out of stock and their website is a pain. Does the whole "delivery to a dealer for pickup" apply to barrels. If it does I'll just by one locally. Thanks

.22 pellet barrels? (UK)

Does anyone know where to get a rifled barrel/barrel blank for .22 pellets in the UK? An internet dealer would be best. Thanks.

Fully Machined Bolt Action Rifle Build Log

I'm moving forward slowly but steadily with this, but I've never really documented a build of anything before, so bare with me and my crappy photography. This is still in a very early stage, only the valve body and the connection between the tank and it are even started. I'm in for the long haul wit...

Revolver valve

I was thinking about a pneumatic revolver (pistol) and came up with a quick valve design I think the picture explain it. Spudfiles pictures don't work for me though, so I can't tell if it uploaded properly. Basically, the air pushes back the ram at the bottom, moving back the bolt at the top, until ...

Look what I picked up.....

Been thinking about getting one of these for a while, and managed to pick one up for an ok price (read : 120$) Should be great for small spudding parts. (Valves) I know what I'm gonna go for first, to warm up they old trigonometry, but after that, sky's the limit ( or actually 100mm inside diameter ...
