nowadays, hardley anyone shoots potatoes, so in that case, most of the guns on this site arn't "spudguns". The hobby has evoved alot from that.

Meh, Lucky. My EM-CC (Electromagnetic Compressed Combustion) Bolt action cannon cost me the latter side of $500, including case construction, plans, cutting, internals, microcontrollers, etc.

In my opinion, I like electomagnetic - combustion. It isn't a spud gun that I use that type though. I make my Coilguns single stage, and I make a parallel circuit, one to the sparker, one electromagnetic.

But Spud guns - I like Pneumatic. It's real simple, but ...

Awesome. Personally, I have one too (EBAY, BABY!!!) but never use it as little fat kids that play Paintball go complain and "I'LL F@CKING SUE YOU!" because I "Accidentally" shot around 5000 rounds, non-stop, at 'em, just to make sure I hit 'em.

You should make an expendable sabot for the golf tee, or else it's shot out at approximately 30 degrees downwards.

Sabot = a little piece of paper towel wrapped around the tip, so 2 sides of the the golf tee fits snugly in the barrel.

Not much of a spud gun, but When I was making an electromagnetic coilgun, I forgot that I was using full metal tweezers to get out a wire.
