Sounds like your "chamber" in this case the round, is going to be very small so you're only talking about a few yards (25 or less) of range. Generally I don't like making guns that can't shoot further than I can throw the projectile. Plus the expense would be astronomical and each mortar round...

I would, you want to be a little higher psi than that or you have a problem with getting a consistent amount in my experience. I don't know anyone that uses less than 50. Then again perhaps try it. If it doesn't work well you can always rebuild it. as long as you're safe this hobby is very forgiving.

A propane cylinder can meter to 90-100 psi give or take. Usually people will tell you 90 psi. While true the problem is if you make your meter built for 90 psi and you go out on a cold day and can only get 75 psi you may have to get creative with your metering. If you regulate down to 60ish you will...

Not to mention your "meter" isn't a meter at all. Basically all you have here is a giant cluster@#$ of tubing that's stopped by a single ball valve. Who knows how accurate your propane dump will be at any given time. Honestly it's basically a glorified spray and pray. You need to have a fixed and kn...

Definitely do not dick with the default gap [/u]. The manufacturer put it there to protect the guts of the stun gun. If you widen the default gap, and then have a problem with your igntion gap(s), you'll cook your stun gun. You may have blown out your stungun, I'm not saying its impossible, but tru...

Ok I'm glad you're open to suggestions. Ditch the pop bottle stuff all together, it's bad practice and quite honestly ball valves are much easier to use for the purpose of chamber venting and cheap to acquire. Never drill a huge hole like you have through a fitting such as a reducer. Use pressure ra...

Welcome to Spudfiles! It's a good start. I like the look of the gun. Generally over under designs are harder to get right and it looks like this gun functions very well! There are a few potential safety concerns. First This: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/files/dsc04174_713.jpg It is obvious that t...
