There's no way a standard combustion will blast through 3 layer foil. And your idea will yield nothing but threads that chew though your burst disk losing it's air tightness.

It doesn't work that way your burst disk only works if it's between the chamber and the barrel. In your example the projectile is on the wrong side of the disk. Also burst disks take quite a bit of energy to burst. If you put multiple disk seperated by different lengths you would get diminishing ret...

I don't think you understand how a burst disk works. If you tried what your saying here you would find that your projectile woulld get stuck somewhere in the barrel.

Ok now you've crossed the line from just honest questions into the realm of handholding type coddling. I gave you the benifit of the doubt with your first post, but now I'm going to agree with mavrick.

It's hardly the best. In my experience it was only barely average. Butane and carb cleaner are great for spray and pray designs. Or if you want a spudgun that is really good use propane.

Nope, it works best with a larger gun. It tends to flood smaller ones due to it's potency. It will leave a lot of soot in your chamber though.
