It's a shame about the DWV fitting on there, if that's what it is. Besides that, it's awesome for something built before you found Spudfiles. I'm loving the paintjob too. Very nicely done!

If I could find the correct electronics without spending a fortune, I'd totally try to make one, since the schematics aren't very complicated at all.

I like the idea. Were the empty cavities in the grip for wieghts that were taken out? It'd look pretty nice if you still had the "grip cover thing" (excuse my lack of knowledge) and made holes for the ignitor wires so that you could keep the grip on it. Either way, I like it

Only thing I can think of; it looks like the reducer on one side of the sprinkler valve is a bell-reducer, and is probably DWV. But you most likely know about that stuff now, so I won't ramble on about it.

With a nailgun, of course! The nails are really small, and if you look at the picture that's a close-up of the grip, you can see little divot things where the heads of the nails went in.

@ Ictchamp - I made the wooden handle myself. It's made of two pieces of plywood that are nailed together.

I didn't bother making some kind of breech-loader for this one. Just a muzzle-loader. I figured that the shroud was too robust to be threading on and off.

This one's been like, 95% complete for a month or so now, and all I had left to do was attach the handle to the body of the gun.
