Thanks for the inspiration django, i haven't got the sealing down just yet, getting close though. Take a look at wyz2285 videos, they are pretty dang helpful. Have you seen Django ...

New airsoft gun

Thank you to wyz2285 and his videos for the inspiration and information i have gained for this project. A lot of the system shown here is of his creation and I want to give credit where credit is due Here is what I have made as my latest. A bolt action gun, fully portable, operating at 120psi. My cl...

Bullpup

Here is my qev airsoft gun. The stock needs a lot of work and the whole thing needs a paint job. I still plan on putting a 1/2 inch pvc pipe over the barrel so that i can mount it to the stock better and have a better base for attachments. It's muzzle loading right now, but i plan on putting a sprin...

Thanks for the advice, i need to do a lot more research and prototyping, i like QDV bolt idea a lot, and the lever/break action looks really cool. I was thinking of other ways to turn a coax into semi auto and I was wondering if this has been tried The chamber would have to be big enough to hold the...

New coax idea?

I was messing around with some of my guns, and I really want to build a break action shotgun, something that looks legitimate and functions somewhat to the real thing I figure building a coax is as compact as I can get, but I also want it to be breach loading. I don't know if this is possible, but t...

This is really cool. About how heavy is the whole thing? Also, what are you using for an air chamber? How is the feeding of paint balls? Everything is so neat and has similar specs I would like to accomplish on my build. Great work !!! :D

i like this a lot and i am going to try it. I am on a FIRST robotics team and we have A LOT of bimba actuators laying around. i am just curious as to why you have to bore the rod out or add a pin. These things move fast. If you line it up right, i would think that the rod would retract a fraction of...

So back to the topic at hand.

The reason my glue is drying up is because i am not tightening the lid enough. So should I clean the threads of the top so that there is no glue on them, and tighten the heck out of it with some pliers, vice grips, channel locks etc.

Am I right?

This isnt related to the toopic but I've always wondered whats the difference over the green pvc glue labeled heavy duty cement and the traditional black pvc cement by black I'm talking about the color on the can. From what Ive noticed the green type is much more , gooey , it flows less easily, it ...
