Well, done with the drawings for the pistol. Sadly, still not semi-automatic, and I still don't want to have to go to an electronic trigger setup. I decided to go for a double trigger system that most paintball players would find familiar. So, here we have one of the final ideas for the pistol. Want...

I had seen that, but I didn't watch the video, assuming that due to the incorrectly capitalized X, it would yield subpar results. Boy, how wrong I was. He explained everything so clearly, it was really great, talk about judging a book by it's cover! Well, now that that is settled, time to make a moc...

Well all, I just realized that my last idea for the pistol's pop off valve to work as a feed was pretty stupid. So, I'm thinking that either a check valve or a hammer valve would probably work, and would probably be better in the long run. Trouble is I don't really understand either. I know that the...

Wait, guys, just found something on a board about regulators. Here's the link: http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=40&products_id=189url . Just wondering if that was a schrader valve I saw under the Male hookup. Even if it wasn't, couldn't I make a shock pump th...

Huh, I was wondering about that. I just kinda figured the air wouldn't go in all at once. Hmm... I thought about buying something from palmer a while back, and if I remember right they are quite expensive. Isn't there something else safe I could do to avoid that price tag? It'd more than double the ...

Hey guys, finally got the main idea for the pistol, but I have a little problem. In my want to make it a multi shot pistol, by my understanding pretty undoable using piston valves, I've made a pretty interesting air resevoir set up. The problem is, I don't know how to make it seal from the rest of t...

Well, yet again my parents throw a wrench in the gears of my plans. So, it looks like I won't be able to buy any of the supplies till after newyears. Sorry everyone, you have no idea how often they do this sort of stuff. Any way, my computer let me find those tank images, and I ofcourse made some ch...

I would do a piston, but the seem to shred the tails off of nerf rockets, and I'd imagine that would leave their accuracy quite a lot to be desired. Also, the reason I'm doing an over and under style gun is to make it more compact. I'm looking at a fairly small weapon, only about 3' 1/2' feet long, ...

Well yall', we seem to have run into a dilemma. Apparently, some of the parts that I was looking for are very hard to come by. So, I've had to revert back to my original single-valve system. If any of you guys are able to find the parts I was looking for, I'd love for you to let me know. I've also h...

Well guys, sorry to let you down. Been very busy lately with play rehearsals, and when I'm not at school, wrestling practice, or the gym, I have to try and make time for my friends (who all seem quite neglected). However, with the holiday season upon us and break almost here, I may be able to do mos...

Thanks for the advice yall', and so quickly too. So, I guess this launcher stays how it is (sans piston) due to it's shredding of NERF rockets. But, that piston page helped out a lot , and I was planning on fixing up a nice little co-ax pistol when I finally understood how to make them. Needless to ...

Well, alright, I guess you got me. But if I could perhaps get a better explanation of how a Piston valve works, I would be much obliged. The wiki was very confusing, I couldn't make heads or tales of it. Maybe draw a little diagram in Paint to help me out, give me some advice on building materials, ...

I would, but I'm almost entirely new to pneumatic gun designs, and I just want a good little try at it for right now. Later on, I might go ahead and make a piston based gun. If no one else has any more comments, I'll start on construction next weekend, give some completed pictures. Also, if anyone h...

Thanks a lot for the advice guys! I'm getting really excited about this thing, and trust me when this is done I'll be coming to you for more help with other launcher designs. So, taking into account everyone's advice (and being stupid in Spudtech and not wanting to make complex things), I have the r...

Ok, so I'll use some short (thank you psycix) steel braided hosing (thank you rp181), probably from tippman products. But do I still need the so called "pressure chamber" (please see drawing for details), or can i connect the air supply directly to the sprinkler valve? This would be ideal, as I am c...
