With smaller calibers i think the rod can moved by a trigger, this is what I am planning to do in my design which uses 6mm steel bbs. With larger calibers an alternative must be found as the required trigger movement to move the rod the distance required is not feasible. To make the animation I used...

All in one valve

The search for a semi-automatic valve has continued for a long time. Several members on this forum have made advancements in the area producing more and more valves which are capable of functioning semi-automatically feasibly. Based on many previous designs(I would like to point out especially Polan...

I really feel this needs to be pointed out; Have you considered to, instead of one 30 or 40 lb pump to have two 15 or 20 lb pumps? The effect is the same. Also, remember that in fact it won't be 30lbs the whole way through but just as the very very end(i am assuming this is air as a power source and...

Nice, the gun looks a lot more impressive when you are holding it! How about a paint job?

Also, what does this baby weigh?

The sticky type :D

I would use a two part transparent epoxy type, which should be jell like not too runny. I would use a two part modeling glue that is good for up to 800psi.

Or a contact glue, just make sure it is relatively strong, doesn't run too much and doesn't have an awful colour.

Haha yes the curse of the shrader....I had a thread on threading them, now the easiest thing would be if you could find a M7.7 tap, or make one(LATHE FTW) and thread the babe by the threads on it already. Beyond that its solder(remove the inner core or you will fry your shrader which is a PITA) or e...

The suppressor is meant to get rid of as much extra air as possible...it would be contra-productive in this case, as it would make the sound less intense while also making the blast less intense... Why not use an industrial size vacume(sure you can borrow one if you ask nicely) to suck the object in...

Yeah, but for a beginner, larger parts may be easier to work with From my experience it takes more experienced ones to handle big parts properly more so than small ones. Some of us have big hands that make all that small stuff feel like we need to use magnifying glasses to see what we're doing... D...

I enjoy reading it, mainly because it is the only english bit of writing i get my hands on beyond school books, makes me feel...international. Also here and there they have things that are intresting, or so damn absurd that it is entertaining. I am a big fan of T.Grey's reports which are chemistry f...

I'm not the type to play with small things, but i do suggest you put a maximum size on it, or there might be a fuss later on if a gun is mini or not.
