They were all air-tight my friend. I used brass bolts, washers, and nuts. Everything was tightened down and my solder jobs on the tips of the stun gun were immaculate. I can't trouble-shoot any longer because as I noted, the stun gun is toast.

I just had an epic fail with the spark strip I posted earlier. Somehow the strip worked perfectly until I mounted it into the chamber. I don’t mean to jump on the band wagon but that’s pretty much what everyone does now-a-days. You create a shorter more drastic edge on the interior and a longer less dramatic knife edge on the exterior, thus ensuring a smooth easy cut that fits tight.

Go for a bbq electric ignitor if you can or research flyback ignition. In either case like lctchamp said, make sure to ajust your spark gap properly.

Check into CDI, that technique began in the 1950's for starting motorcycles.
