I know how you could lock it on,

on the magazine, on an area that would slip into the "mag well", put a bolt in, and in the "mag well" carve a groove, that turns to a 90 degree angle, so you align the bolt with the groove, slide it in, then rotate it to lock it in.

One concern I have is th angle of the barb to the shaft, it is fairly large and i am scared it may recuse penetration, remember these will be fired from about 1meter, and no more, and underwater. Its possible, but with just plastic you will end up with a POS gun.

I would imagine it would be near impossible to do unless you had decent metalworking skills, and experience making air rifles.

I would normally say dwv is reasonably safe, when in ABS form, but I can not be OK with DWV PVC, something not rated WITH a very violent failure method is not good for anyone...

Only reason I use DWV ABS is because I know that if god forbid... it fails, it will likely not cause my shredded death.
