what to do with an old fire extinguisher
i bought a 9.5 liter water fire extinguisher it is still sealed
it is proof tested to 500 psi
the gauge is at 150 psi, it sais "overfilled" (90-110 is the green zone)
the sticker on it sais it was last inspected in 1988( :shock: )
so is it still safe to handle, and if so, what could i use it ...

according to the DOT specs, Steel 72 scuba tanks rated at 3000(!) psi must have a minimum wall thickness of .164 (0.42 cm)at manufacture, but tend to run thicker, say, .180(0.46 cm) or so.
