This year at summer camp the Ipad was the "cool new toy". It has yet to be diminished of this status. We have plenty of outdoor activities within the troop. I knew that the panel can't provide much current. Are you sugesting that the panels charge the batteries and then the batteries charge devices?

I just built a pnuematic golfbal gun (showcase thread coming soon) and i am looking for a cheap source of massive quantites of golfballs, pregferably junky ones that no one wants. I've found a couple deals on ebay, but they are all virgin balls, id prefer crappy ones.

Haha I like the idea of it but don't have the patience to deal with designing it. The design could be made simpler by using PC fans and propane metering.

They will fit in 2" Scedule 40 PVC, I would imagine that they would also fit in 2" copper if you have that. The whole caulk tube also makes excellent ammo because when empty they are slightly front heavy so they fly without tumbling. The wind does have quite the effect on them though.

As long as you can get a single flare to form in the steel pipe it should work fine. Compression fitting should also work, contrary to a previous comment compression fitting can handle braking system pressures and would be fine at 500psi. I think I have watch that video before. I'll have to watch it again. I was guessin og piston length on the basis that the pistons in your QDV cannons that I have seen are longer than their diameter from what I can tell.
