There is no coleman UK website. Or at least not one you can buy things off.

Looking for a lantern sparker to use as a 2nd ignitor, to be used if the other one fails or it just gives the choice.

However I cannot find these to buy in the UK. From America the shipping is like $12 for a $4 sparker.

I have been on loads but they never show easy to follow photos. They only show like 2 pictures for the entire process.

Is there anyway I could incorporate a rotary sparker to the combustion chamber? I guess not.

I cant get a spark using my switch unless i strike the wires together manually.

Hi, I am building a camera flash ignitor but with no coil. Just the very basic one.

I have wired it all up and get some nice sparks by shorting it out. However when I have it in the 3 wire config, 2 from cap and 1 from trigger, it does not spark.

I was doing some more tests. Even using a plastic bottle as a small scale test, the spark takes a few tries to ignite the fuel.

I now want to install a lantern flint sparker. Going to ring round the camping shops tomorrow, but it seems that these are more of an American thing.

I have been using a piezoelectric clicker out of an electric lighter. The spark is enough to ignite but it stops working after 1 combustion due to it getting so wet.

Never mind. Fixed it. I think the distance was a bit off.

Anyway I soldered on some wire to the bottom of one of the bolts and freyed it out. Now it will zap one on every click.

Hopefully it will be enough to ignite.

Right so I am using a lighter sparker for ignition. It is fairly weak but can create sparks around 1.5cm long which works well.

The bolts I originally was using are too thick for the electricity to go through and as such only make sparks 1mm long!

75/63 x 40mm

Would the above work for 40mm to 75mm pipe? I assume I could use a 75mm coupling to joing the spigot and 75mm pipe then just slot the 40mm pipe in the other socket end?
