Ok, so here's the deal. This summer has been a summer of ups and downs, and it's almost over (school starts in less than 2 weeks). I haven't done too much this summer as far as spudding is concerned, but I would like to make up for lost time and actually build something cool before school starts (or...

After seeing the multitude of pen guns posted in the last few weeks I decided to try building one.

Never said you did, just pointing out that I never "invented" it either
What's this going in then? High pressure small calibre single shot pistol/rifle?
Haha, ok, I gotcha!
Ummm, I'm planning on making it into a .25 cal. handgun of some sort I think.

The idea of a "spool" type piston is several hundred years old so nothing new under the sun. Looks very neat, I'm guessing you'll be taking it to significantly high pressu...

It Finally Works!(well...sort of)

Ok, I have been working on my in-line piston design for quite a while now, a few months at least. I know that in principle it would work, but the problem was that it was kinda difficult to get it to work :) . Well...today was a very hot and humid day (Heat index of near 110 f) and I really d...
