Right now I am using a cheap 1/2" pvc ball valve because I haven't had time to install my sprinkler valve and it is very powerful. It blew a huge hole in 3/4" plywood from 50' away using 80psi.

Really? A lot of the piston guns I have seen on the forum still use sprinkler valves.
