Re: VERA: My very favorite gun

...a BIGGER brother?! Holy hell... I'll take a 25% chance for that, it's worth hoping for haha. It's a shame the nature of the work prevents more videos of Vera.

Re: VERA: My very favorite gun

Hey, vera still exists? I'm also stoked that spudfiles still exists too, I had completely forgotten about it until I got the notification for this thread. Also, another thanks for hgdt, I still use that and the airgun version from time to time.

Re: Help with metering setup?

Awesome! I think you covered all bases for me. I do occasionally lurk through the showcases from time to time, and although I've been here a long time I haven't had much time for spudding over the last few years (had 2 kids +career advancement), but this combustion rig I have happening at the moment...

Help with metering setup?

Hi, it's been a really long time since I've lurked around these forums, although I'm still launching vegetables and things. But, I'm hitting a dead end and need some assistance. Who better to ask than the experts? I'm going to be setting up onboard propane or MAPP tank and metering, and this is my f...

22mm ball and burst valve cannon

whipped this cannon up out of some spare parts a couple days ago, operates by filling the cannon with a burst disc loaded to less than bursting pressure, closing the ball valve and filling the bigger tank with more. Or, can be operated using the ball valve alone. I haven't really used it much yet, b...

Re: Remedy Metal Longshot

probably going to stick a QEV in a max force shadow hawk if I was going to go air powered. and maybe some sort of 3 way valve filling and exhausting. But, I haven't really had enough time to plan out the build yet.

Re: Remedy Metal Longshot

Custom Nerf is still a relatively untouched region at the moment, there are aftermarket makers out there, but as far as I know remedy metal is now defunct, leaving xplorer which is expensive, orange mod works which is by many opinions not that great quality and slydev, which is limited to small 3d p...

Re: Remedy Metal Longshot

I had thought about delrin, but I haven't found the time to take measurements and draft a plunger up yet. Also, it'd probably be fairly expensive getting a one off plunger. I might see if I can shoot potato out of it, I wouldn't be surprised if it can.

Remedy Metal Longshot

WOW! new updates! This place looks so great now! anyway, I noticed no posts in the Nerf section, so I thought I'd kick it off. This is my Remedy Metal Longshot. It's a full Remedy Metal internal kit, with a spring load of ~20kg (44lbs). I've also reinforced the trigger with a cut down 14g bicycle sp...

cloud vs. vortex bbmg efficiency

So, I was wondering what the difference in air usage is between a cloud bbmg and a vortex block setup and how low of a pressure they can be regulated to in order to still work? Reason being I want to build one that will have enough onboard air supply at 175psi to run through 100 bbs or so. I know a ...

Painted it up and added a cheek and shoulder pad. I also made a meter for it. it's just a length of tube with a gauge in one end and ball valve in the other that threads on to my propane tank. I'll probably add a red dot sight eventually as I'm finally getting some nice shots now! http://i6.photobuc...
