Rag is write, bigger is not always better.. or in this case too big isn't always better, plus the fill time on a 60 gallon chamber wouldn't be pretty. I'm sure you'd be more than fine with a 30 gallon chamber.

Eh today my first coaxial mini is curing :D it's in the oven right now, speeding up the process. EDIT: Jack, do I need to add a bumper onto small coaxials like this??? Right now I have 3 pistons in mind, one that is made out of plastic, very light but might crack after long periods of use, casting o...

It's right there in Jack's diagram, you actually have a separate chamber and then you have the actual valve on the top (piston and then you have the barrel). The fill valve is on the bottom chamber and the actual pilot valve is attached to the trigger.

Go the safe way and solder it, solder on copper pipe is stronger than epoxy, I have heard of Justforcopper, which is a glue to join copper fittings/pipe, might give that a try if you can't solder.

I say you cast it out of hot glue, but to make it lighter use something like 3 inch PVC inside of the cast, and on the outside use whatever your using to cast your piston, so that its hollow on the inside and not so heavy.

The combustion last's too little for it to affect the fan in any way, its over in less than a second.

Ah, now I see it.
Did you epoxy some annealed copper tubing onto the CO2 canister or something similar?

I'm asking beacause the connection from the co2 canister to the chamber dosen't add up, the co2 canister is too small for where the barrel starts.

I'm sure 88 gram co2 cartridges could hold a bit more and give you more chamber volume at the same time, they're about 20 bucks for a pack of 2 :D

Well you might want to search for DYI's cannon, I believe he used off the counter hardware parts for most of his cannon and he took it up to about 20x mix. Let me find you the link.
