Buda, there's been discussion and the spark is nothing. The amount of current/voltage (as long as the mix ignites) will not change power in any way, unless you are pumping enough current to form plasma from your electrodes.

This BMF is frickin' LOUD!!
I can't wait to test a potato where there's no leakage around the ammo like there is with the paper/duct tape balls I make. THEN it should really give me some distance.
