Arrow shooting "Steampunk" pistol

This is actually promising... performance is really good, for such a small launcher.

Re: Arrow shooting sniper airgun (work in progress)

Yes, the verminator was my inspiration. I actually visited the FXAirguns company in Sweden last year, and we shot the heck out of those arrow shooters. FXAirguns paid for an official assessment by the BKA, Germany's highest ranking authority for gun classifications - and they concluded that such arr...

Re: Arrow shooting sniper airgun (work in progress)

I just started with pneumatic guns, because of legal issues. You need a gunsmith license (takes six years to get) if you want to make a legal air gun in Germany, but someone recently found a loophole in that law - if you shoot an arrow OVER the barrel and not THROUGH a barrel, then the weapon is not...

Re: Arrow shooting sniper airgun (work in progress)

OK, finished the weapon.

Stock is fully painted, scope is sighted in. Now I am waiting for a new pump - for bike shocks. Goes up to 600 psi! I hope to reach 200 fps with that. That would be 65 Joule.

Re: Arrow shooting sniper airgun (work in progress)

Weapon is fairly complete now, shoots great! Low scope mount, just the way I like it. It is still a small gun, but it packs a punch. Now, beautification. http://www.theslingshotforum.com/attachments/f6/31873d1454433931-air-powered-arrow-sniper-rifle-fullsizerender-2-.jpg http://www.theslingshotforum...

Arrow shooting sniper airgun (work in progress)

Since the Coke bottle arrow launchers work so well, I decided to improve on the concept. Next project is a full blown sniper rifle. Air tank is a 1" steel tube, 20cm in length, with screwed on end caps. Schrader valve on one end, solenoid 1/2" valve on the other end. 100ml capacity. Wasn't easy to m...

Re: Arrow Shooting Full Auto Coke Bottle Gatling

Yes, I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in "miniature". But if pumped up tp 200 psi, it IS a serious shooter (the 120 psi my cheapo compressor manages is kind of weak indeed). Therefore I posted it here.

Arrow Shooting Full Auto Coke Bottle Gatling

OK, I haven't posted here for a while (used to be quite active in the "non spudgun related" sub), but this new toy of mine seems to belong here. I have two earlier videos that show my way from zero to the full monty for those that are interested. https...

Rubber powered spud bazooka

Made my first spud gun! It had to use rubber as a propellant of course. The design is a bit like my cannon with winch, but this time I want a faster cocking method. Just a normal pull up slide! I used the clamp method from the car sized cannon, but the trigger from my trusted old bone crushing cross...

So many people wanted blueprints and tuts for my pump actions. But of course the Oreo one is useless, and the cardboard one is flimsy and weak. So I decided to make a really nice one that shoots M10 hexnuts. Those are very cheap (I buy 100 pcs for five Euros), last forever, and have the right weight...

Well, the chainsaw sits on top of a 1,70 m long pole. It might work.

OK, we all know that front heavy bolts need no fletching for a straight flight.

What if...
