The " percussion cap" you're using probably works as intended for it's intended use. However, you're trying to ignite a fuel air mixture and will need a hotter, faster spark. Anybody remember what the automatic tennis ball launcher was called? The dog could play fetch any time it wanted to. The guys dog would drop the ball in and off it went. It was a fairly small spring loaded device and IIRC it held 3 balls. One ball had to be dropped in to acuate it.

Plenty of launchers in the Pneumatic Showcase section to get build idea's from. How do you feel about using a paintball air supply tank for launching tennis balls? How far do you plan to launch them? Have you came up with any designs that are ready to be printed? Have you thought about taking custom orders? Cost and turn around time? These are the 1st things that come to my mind.
