yea the hole makes it lose alot of power, i can't imagine its very safe either.
Youshould to pick up a cheap electric lighter and use the piezo igniter from it to fire it.

This one made me chuckle, but I do so love lung-powered blowguns that I just had to chime in!

I once blew a needle dart halfway through my pointer finger wondering if I could hold my finger on the end of the barrel, blow to full pressure, and then whip my finger away ...

im not sure about the servos, but usb ports provide 5v's. All the laser pointers i have used run off 3v so youll need some resistors.

Just had another failure.

Messing around with a gun in my room, didn't realize a valve was loose, pumped some air into it, BOOM.

The unwanted kind of boom anyway, it sent a ball valve and barrel across the room.

Your going to need a lot of lubricant if you use a syringe, they airtight seal isn't just airtight.

I want to build a cheap simple and fun little springer for airsoft wars. I know this doesn't seem practical, but with careful designing and construction it should be cool.

In addition to what jrrdw said, after following his instructions you should log out, clear your cache, close your browser(go into task manager to make sure the process has been killed) then open your browser and log in(Make sure to tell spudfiles to remember you!). Chambers and barrels tend to fly when you do that

Sand it down a bit so it looks more curvy and less bulky....all the way up the shaft and the head having a flat underside allowing it to sit flush against whatever it is fastened to.
