I was just using two 9 volts to trigger the valve. I had them wired in series as I thought that would be better and give it more power but I will try parallel. I think it was a lack of power issue. I think by adding the air the 2 batteries were not strong enough to open the valve. I will add a third...

http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n36/n2extreme1/Mobile%20Uploads/1282174894.jpg Here is the launcher. Barrels not attached. I tested the valves with pressures from 50psi to 125 psi. Left side works fine but the right side will not. What I meant when I said it worked without air was that the solen...

Valve wont fire.
Ok I read the stickies and found what might be my issue. I have an Orbit 1in valve. when I test it without air it works fine and you can hear the click. when I put air to it there is no click and it will not release the air. It is a double barrel cannon and the valve on the right works fine with air...

I dont have the exact measurements of the chamber as I am not at home at the moment but I would say it is a little over a foot. The reg is a palmers stabalizer. I already removed the "Flow regulator" and lowered the palmer reg to 80 psi as I was setting off the saftey valve at 125 psi. So that being...

Thanks for the input guys. I was hoping to get a better range than 285 ft. Somewhere around double that actually. Will a longer barrel or larger chamber help with the desired range and still keep it under 250 fps? Or am I going to have to go another route such as modify the sprinkler valve and or us...

Im unable to view the file for whatever reason. Would someone be willing to input the information and see what they come up with for me? Im not sure what information you need. 1in unmodified sprinkler valve. Max pressure 125 psi. Firing nerf vortex rocket from a 2in pipe. Looking to see what size ch...

I want to use 2in barrels. I will be using 1in sprinkler valves electronicaly fired. The cannon will be firing nerf vortex roc...
