There small hand pumps that reach high pressures, there made for mountain bikes and can reach 300+ psi, without knowing your chamber volume or type of valve I cant tell you what pressure you need \

Well it be hard to miss with 1000 shots, as for the mag, just buy a cheapo rifle from ebay and remove the barrel, hop up and mag setup, then just add what ever air and valve setup you choose
You're right, I guess... But sniping is more fun :). I guess I'll find an old bolt-action sniper rifle or ...

For a magazine setup, I'm thinking about getting an old magazine from another airsoft gun. What would be a good way to get a BB in the barrel after each shot? I don't mind having to cock it. I'm thinking maybe having a lever pull open a slot in the barrel, then pulling the stop thing on the magazine ...

Maybe 5 seconds, you could even do something as simple as 2 ball valves 3 inches apart with that air tank you mentioned and breech load paper shells full or bbs, for the breech just cut a rectangle in the barrel and use a pipe repair coupling, this wont be the most powerful launcher but should give ...

Multi-shot designs?
I'm planning an airsoft "spread launcher", and want a good multi-shot design. It needs to be pretty cheap, simple to build, and portable. My first cannon has to be pumped for every shot which really smells when the enemy is only 20 feet away and your sidearm is out of ammo...

Max
I'm going to build a whole new gun, the one I have now is impractical for airsoft (too long). I've tested, and 60 PSI is the max I can do without breaking the cheapo pump...Is there a high-quality pump that you know of?

Best type of manual pump + barrel diameter for airsoft
I'm trying to build an airsoft mortar/spread launcher. I made a simple pneumatic cannon (2 feet of 2" PVC, tire fill valve, 1/2 ball valve and 1 foot 1/2" barrell) which originally I used to shoot marshmellows, but found it works ok for airsoft BBs. My first question: What is the best type of manual ...
