They pop at like 1500 psi... he would have to put a separate pop off valve to allow it to be safe for the sprinkler valve... as for the testing weather and classes have kept me to busy to meet my buddy who has the reg right now... we're working on finding some time to do it but it could be a couple ...

What are your thoughts on liquid co2 creating problems in a regulator. My thoughts have been that the reason that the cobalt reg malfunctioned was because of liquid co2 getting into the regulator. Also when this happened there was a thick layer of ice formed on the bottle.

HPA tanks have a regulator built in that will take the 3000 to 4500 psi air in the bottle down to approx. 850psi which is normal operating pressure for most paintball guns on the market. I found that i liked having a really portable compressor with me because I am always shooting someplace where carrying all my gear was required. Compressors are heavy!!!! I have a one or two gallon porter cable compressor (sold at Lowes). Craftsman compressors are nice also, I have an 80 gallon one ...

The company Kobalt makes a regulator to attach to any CO2 canister for paintball guns. They sell them at lowes, or you could find one of the same type at Harbor Freight. It reduces the high pressures in the tank to a more manageable psi. I think they can go up to a regulated 220 p.s.i.
