My barrel actually came through, I'm stoked! No more trawling through ebay and hobby stores looking for reliable tubing!

I finished it today, ended up fixing the barrel, using neodymium magnets to hold the projectile (thanks JSR) and dropping the bearings down it. They take about 10 seconds ...

The scope mounts are secured to a few bolts that I screwed into the stock. It's not the -best- way to do it, but it's definitely sturdy enough to not move unless the thing is dropped.

Thanks Jack, but I've got 2000 6mm balls here that I bought from eBay, I've got to use them somehow. I've ordered a 6.03mm proper airgun barrel, the seller said they'd ship it as "precision tubing" for me so I think it will get through customs with no problem.

I really like this, the stock looks great and I like the thumb hole. :D

It'd be good to see a damage video or something, personally I would have put some kind of sight on it but that's just my opinion, it's your gun so do things the way you want to. 8)

Just an update here, I got my bearings in the mail today to find out that they wouldn't fit in the barrel. :roll:

After pulling the caliper out I found that the ID of the arrow shafts I bought was 5mm, not 6mm as they said it would be. (FFFUUU.jpg)

Even without o-rings, a tight fitting sleeve will have minimal air loss and the benefits in accuracy should be worth it.

Yeah unfortunately due to the size of the fittings for the chamber I couldn't really narrow it down any more than it already is.

It is a 1/2" QEV, when I bought it I was planning on using 1/2" copper as the bore without anything sleeved in it, but since then I decided to go for more of a plinker that I could fit generic BBs in as they're cheap and easy to get.
