Has anyone ever used a battery operated BBQ lighter? I have always wanted one. I found one for $15 shipped on eBay and it works great. Uses a triple A battery. I hacked it up and modified it to my needs...but even unmodified it worked very well...makes a strong spark about an inch gap.

The D9 weapon is so chunky you could almost have a completely coaxial design and multiple ignition points along the rather long and skinny chamber. That would be a reason to have all those tubes down the length of it.

Little update. Using Tangerines

A little update. I've shot all manner of things out of the cannon. Even potatoes. It's been reliable. And it has a satisfying amount of recoil :twisted:

My favorite so far is an improvised cardboard shot shell full of mini marshmallows straight up. But busting jugs is fun too.
