Wireless Electric Firing?
I am currently in the design phase for Spud Gun v2.0 and this time, I wanna be able ti fire it wireless from a distance. I've found that the internet is littered with 12 volt wireless relays, however, 24 volt ones are few and far in between, and 120 volt wireless relays are a bit expensive. Has ...

Swivel Stands?
I'm looking to purchase or construct a strong swivel stand for my pneumatic cannon. Currently I have an over/under design, with a 4" pressure chamber and 2" barrel. I would love to design a quick way to mount (and demount) it to a swivel stand (tripod, preferably) for easy aiming and firing. However ...

Sprinkler Valve using another sprinkler Valve as a Pilot?
I am in the process of designing my next spud gun. I've learned a lot from my first one I built last summer and from these forums, but I am coming to ask for the expertise from you forum members. My first one was a pneumatic spud gun control by a 1" orbit sprinkler valve, non modified electric ...

Be nice, it's my first one, and kind of crude!
Well, this was my project last week, however I had been researching and interested in spud cannons for a long time. After a lot of research, I felt I wanted something that has a lot of power that runs by a source that is cheap: compressed air. So I went and built a full size cannon, with the barrel ...

Projectiles for 2" barrels?
What are some of the "best" or "most interesting" or practical projectiles that you guys have used in a 2" barrel. I am using a 2" barrel and since this is my first gun I didn't build interchangeable ones, so besides spuds, what else have you guys shoved down those 2 inchers that is interesting?

Supporting the spud gun (bracing)
I have constructed a spud gun using the over and under design. My barrel goes over my compression chamber and is connected via two right angle adapters. The right angles support one side, but what are some recommended ways of supporting the other side so as the weight does not cause the gun to sag ...
