Oh ok, so would threading the hole and putting a piece of pipe through it and the barrel attaching to it work? And can the pipe be sticking inside the vortex?

Oh ok, well ive done custom work on both of my airsoft guns and the hopup spacer is loacted at the bottom of the barrel. Thats why i am a little confused

yeah, i figured a nice pipe would work just as well as a block, and im just having trouble with the hopup because i was thinking it might be to close to the pipe to get a screw in there.
