i have 4 qev devices up and running.. of which are 3/4 thread barrel type qev.
the first uses 1.5kg al. fire extinguisher as the chamber. ghetto fixed to a 3/4 elbow then into qev.. 17mm id 2mm walls 'gal-tube' barrel 900mm long threaded end to suit 3/4 into qev exh..& no, it is not seamless < that ...

I have made my fair share of dry ice bombs in the past.. 3-4 pellets, some water, an empty soda bottle and very VERY quick hands..

the pressure chamber would have to be fairly gnarly with a burst disk or some sort of pressure relief valve so that to dosn't become a shrapnel maker.

Not sure if this is the relevant area to be posting this question, however.. Could one use dry ice in a pressure vessel to use as a portable pressure source.. think it be be ideal for a qev/slide valve combo.

spray a bit of wd40 or whatever inside the qev and give it a good blast in all 3 ports with shop gun, will save pulling it apart to clean it.
What is your chamber size?
I constructed a small bb muzzle loader with small main chamber filling through the pilot...quick fitting > 1/4 ball valve > 1/4 ...
