true enough, but its the easiest to create and not much mod. got to disagree with the holding pressure tho, it depends on the piston's seals and that depends on who made it.

Edit: i withdraw my statement, there is a way to enhance the piston valve's pressure flow rate, using this theoretical design ...

why not make a piston-valve driven by a motor? ever seen a steam-train?

its a combustion spud, thats why i'm attaching it on the end-barrel. advantage of putting the recreational kit to the end-barrel is that the projectile already has momentum and almost out of the barrel so any loss in pressure would hardly affect the projectle.

its not really that complex, its just you added an internal heating element, just pouring boiling water before closing the end caps could do the trick as well. how hard do you think would it be to put ice cubes in a Gatorade bottle? its the same concept but with added wires in it.
