If you are still looking for a proper magazine spring for the airsoft bb's, you could purchase a cheap "mid cap" magazine off an online retailer and steal the spring out of the magazine.

Cartridged-powered Nerf Rocket Launcher

Number of shots off of one cartridge ranges from 3-6. Bursting pressure is probably between 40-80 psi? I don't have any way to measure it, so this is just based off of the sources i used when making this cannon. Also, i've found that the most optimal cartridge length using 1 inch pipe is around 4 ...

friend had the same rifle. the scope is complete garbage, but the gun is pretty nice.. Fiber Optic sights wouldve been better than the painted ones, but i guess you cant complain when it's just a bb gun.

either that or nerf rockets like i use.. they work great for bunker busting/ AOE hits

don't use a combustion cannon for a start.. To be a bit safer, build a pneumatic one.

maybe look into other forums of people who specifically upgrade these kinds of guns? there may be info on how to do such a thing there.
