I would say steel pipes and fittings. Stainless steel or galvanized steel. They take a lot of pressure, but can be pretty expensive. You can buy them from mcmaster.com
Edit: Also, please don't double post. You can edit your last post to put in any more information.

Ball valve, butterfly valve, burst disk, piston valve, etc.
I would suggest the burst disk as it is full flow and opens pretty much instantly, which gives great performance.
Take a look in the wiki for how to make a triggered burst disk.
BTW, how are you pumping to 800 psi??? I would recommend just ...

Fallout Powerfist!
Hey guys! While playing Fallout 3 and trying to perfect my spud gun, I had a great (at least I think so) idea of creating a "power fist". The power fist is basically an unarmed weapon with two pneumatic cylinders that shoot at as you punch to deal serious damage. I'm thinking about using a ...

But wouldn't one that's too strong be too hard to pull back and also damage the ball valve when it snaps?
Would this one work or does it need to be stronger? It has a 24 lb load.

Spring loaded BV
Hey guys, so I've decided to spring load the ball valve on my metal pneumatic (WIP). I'm going to try to explain how it works, hope you guys understand. There is a 1.5" barrel, a 1.5" chamber, and a 1.5" ball valve between the two. The ball valve can be locked, and it will be locked closed. There is ...

I don't really get how that works, as the photos (especially the close ups) aren't very clear. From what I see, you replaced the nail on the barrel hose clamp with a longer one. As long as the threads are the same as the short nail, it should be ok. I'm really not sure what you did with the bottom ...
