Adhesives losing the battle with lubricants :(

Hello All, This is a small, not quite pen-sized, pneumatic gun that gets filled to 500 psi I have a barrel sealing piston on this "snipe stick" copper w/ brass pneumatic. The piston is a 3/4" long piece of copper tubing with one end soldered shut with a round piece of copper and then filled nearly f...

Re: Pneumatic snipe stick

Hey! I like to take a year+ to get back to people... ;)

Sorry, but I've been away and I must have turned off notifications or something. Anyway, I'm glad to see master sensei, JSR, helped you out. Your finished design looks great.

Pneumatic snipe stick

snipe-stick.jpg Finally made time to get the video together and add some silliness as well (have the sound on if you can) Thanks again to the SF community and a special shout to JSR for all the great info. This is my first non-ball valve pneumatic. It's a barrel-sealing piston and let me jus...

Re: 8mm pneumatic flintlock

It looks great! I like the line work on the wood and wrapped gauze tape(?) over the PVC. The look is worthy of the one and only, Capt. Jack Sparrow.

Re: Barrel length question with GGDT

Hey! Thanks JSR. Glad you saw my distress call. I made the barrel length 8" and narrowed the bore to 0.25". This is the new specs I believe. It's shooting nails through wood real nice now

Barrel length question with GGDT

Hi, I have a pen gun with a barrel sealing piston (okay, not really a "pen"... more like a fat marker). I tried punching in the numbers for GGDT, but there are inputs I'm not quite sure about... I made a diagram with the sizes and diameters I know in the jpeg below. I'm wondering what GGDT will say ...

Re: Easy stirrup pump

Loving this pump I made from your plans, Gippeto. Couple questions: I initially added some moly grease to lubricate it and it worked great. As time and use go on it seems to be less lubricated and every so often, on the down-stroke, I can hear a slight release of air come up the shaft. How often sho...

Re: 1" brass ball blaster

Finally made the stock and forestock for the rifle. Also etched it's name ("Peacebreaker") into the 1" steel pipe using a 9v battery, two wires, and Q-tips dipped in vinegar/salt solution. Now that it's finally getting nice out here in Wisconsin, I plan to make a YouTube video of it in action soon. ...

Very cool! I envy your work surroundings (apartment living makes constructing and shooting tough  ). I second a video showing the power of the golf ball.
