The problem I see is this: if the air goes in too fast it might slam that piston up against the front pretty hard and over time could deform the front. Brass with normal epoxy piston should do the trick.
What size qev are you planning ?

You should put epoxy between blowgun and t fitting so air cant go from t fitting to blowgun output and drill holes to blowgun output
