I operate my spudgun with deodorant.
I can inject the gas with a microcontroller, so I get very reliable results.

But how to define the best mix??
I thought if it fires, the leanes tmix is the best.
But it is not. If I inject more gas, the power goes up.

Is there a way to find the best mix ...

I currently operate a similar assembly in my gun.

I use a T-junction and a short tube as magazin. Spring loaded to allow gravity independent loading.

You should keep in mind that magazine should be fast to change.
In this case the mag also has to keep the full pressure of the system.

About barrel evacuation:
Do you guys know how pulse-jet engine works???
These engines make about 50 to some 100 cycles per second by bringing the whole system in resonance. We just need a way to load the tube with ammo then......

Maybe store the ammo inside of the combustion chamber and release it ...

The magazine is 5 shots, but i forgot to remove the finger from the trigger, so the last "shot" is without ammo...

so, some major step forward!

The current Cycle time is not 575ms per shot!!
That 1.7Hz (shots per second!!)

I had to change parts of the magazin to metallic, and add a end-stop to the spring-plate in it.

The limiting factor for the speed of the gun is now the injection with 375ms.
