Marlins are realllll nice. Henry's are even better I think. Funny Gipp, I was looking at that rifle for a while now. Really want to mount a Malcolm tube scope to it. Go for a early 1900's Varmint rifle.

Re: Barrel/ball bearing tolerance
Id buy lead balls and use something to patch them, rifled barrel or not.
They make all different sizes of lead balls and they will usually pancake on impact instead of bouncing back atcha'.
Use some kind of cloth or paper and go to town.

Do a google search for a "gingery lathe".
I started thinking about doing the same and building a lathe.

Re: Question about darts
I'd say you're using too much pressure. Try starting low and move up! Heres a link to a blow gun community, (caution: they allow talk of hunting but this is a a dart construction thread) feel free to delete. http://blowgun.lefora.com/topic/3409058/Dart-Construction#.VcfKhPlViko I dont know how well ...

Re: So I want to build the Best airsoft gun ever, but.....
Ditch the drill and get a drill press. SO many things one can do with a drill press that cant be done with a drill. I wish i would have bought mine years ago when i first started spudding. Woulda made a lot more guns and kept my wallet thicker and my scrap parts box lighter. I've sorta moved away fr...

Hey guys, Its been a while! I've grown up a little and gotten off my lazy bum and now have a job, with a small amount of money saved up. Ive made the decision to buy a lathe and am looking into the sherline! It should be perfect for starting out and small, airgun related builds. Hit me with tips and...

Re: Pop off valve triggering
Look at blueprints of actual firearm sears. I'm sure a blowback and sear could be made easily, especially with your skills and tool and such. I hope this doesn't go against any rules. I don't mean anything besides the sear mech.

Check out Amazon for close fitting tubing. They have brass tubing, aluminum, stainless, that all could be used. Hope this helps.

Re: Full Auto 50
Could you machine a QEV and use that instead of the sprinkler valve? I think that would reduce the bulkiness and you could use some higher pressures,
just something to think about.
Looks sweet overall!

1/2" copper barrel ammo
Hey guys! I starting a new build, a simple copper coaxial pneumatic, and for the barrel I will be using 1/2" copper. I was wondering what's your favorite ammo, and maybe share a picture of the damage or just why you like it. I though because it is so popular I'd start a topic on it. Thanks folks! Nick
