Re: 1'' Sprinkler Valve Pneumatic Cannon

That's what I've read, but what bushing is rated? At Menards, the bushing for 3'' to 2'' seems to have even less of a slip fit on the 2'' side. It also says it's dwv. Thanks

1'' Sprinkler Valve Pneumatic Cannon

It's an ugly design, but it gets the job done. I had these parts lying around so I decided today would be a great day for a cannon. Parts List: 3'' pipe 3'' end cap 3''-2'' reducer http://i.imgur.com/GOsRj8B.jpg 2''-1'' bushing A 2'' stub of 1'' pipe 2* 1'' threaded male couplings? (I'm not exactly ...

Some like this by my house. The dirt is more on the sandy side so it's very dry. Never had the balls to go off them. This is more like off-road BMX than mountain biking hah.

If needed, I can post a picture of it, very simple and easy to make. But if you want something awesome, you can increase the air tank size, and make a shotgun barrel. A shotgun barrel attachment is easy to make. Just cut about 4-6 lengths of 1/2 (depending on the size of pipe your're going to nestle...

My brother is actually into modifying nerf guns to make them shoot farther. The whistle darts (the big soft rubber-ish head) fit perfectly inside 1/2. I've found out that you need very little air to make these things shoot far, and it's easily possible to make the tank too big. Make it with too much...

That would be great for +300. I'm goinng to be shooting this at a golf course near my house and the range only goes to 300. Everyone will be looking at me up there though, so I'm going to try and make sure it fits in a golf bag

I'll look into GGDT, but for my 4 foot 1.5inch barrel, I plan on using 4 feet of 2inch plus 2 2inch tees. What distances should i expect from it at around 80psi(I'm a fat boy so I can get it to decent pressure easily) I've seen GGDT before and was completely confused by it. If someone has spare time...

Barrel to Chamber Ratio

My barrel is 1.5inch sdr21 4 feet long. I'm going to be shooting golfballs, most likely using a ball valva. (It's the only thing i can get my hands on as of now.) What would be the best sized air chamber for optimal results? I'm going to be using a bike pump to fill this up, so I didn't want to make...

What size dust collector for $30? And would it be better than a super easy "flick" 2 inch ball valve?

I made a cannon, using 9 feet of 4' and a 2' ball valve, and it has power. It cost about $50. If you're willing to spend more, you could build a piston valve or buy a 2' sprinkler valve which are usually $50.
