according to this : https://eu.novritsch.com/ammunition-overview/ ( and a video) 6.44 mm bbs are used in airsoft guns
so a 6,35 pellet must work even a barrel is 6.01

Re: is this a hq hand pump ?
I've never seen one in the flesh but most people seem to think it's pretty good . i got it , and in compare with the china one - this pump is at another level . indeed with same money i could of brought a electric hpa compressor, but ......it is more "handy" . i am talking about the mk4 hill hand h...

is this a hq hand pump ?
as i brought a china pcp hand pump, and got problems with it, i want to buy a HQ pump. main reason is the china pump does put oil and water into the tank. this is the only branded pump for sale @ here ,and i want to get it, does it worth it ? it costs @ 200 euro............ https://www.emag.ro/pompa...

Re: 4,2 mm pipe for 4.5 ammo
i ve not "tuned " the barrel as it looks like inaccuracy still comes from the dust, but the dust goes in from the brand new pcp hand pump, witch is exactly what i got it for - to have no dust. it is vaseline mixted with water . as the pump is a brand new china made, it has no filter, and there is no...

Re: 4,2 mm pipe for 4.5 ammo
Totally stupid idea, maybe, for use of bbs... What if you were to bend the barrel down slightly, right at the start by the breech? Would that perhaps force a consistent contact between bb and the top of the barrel, effectively guarantee a hopup effect even with the extra speed you're generating? A ...

Re: 4,2 mm pipe for 4.5 ammo
i was thinking ( not sure i can find my words, but....) to squeeze the part where the bb seats in the barrel , about 5 cm, from outside -in ( like fx barrels ) let me explain why : the bb sets down into the barrel so when it is blasted with air it may go any where , it needs to be caught in the midd...

Re: 4,2 mm pipe for 4.5 ammo
That sounds tight. I used some stainless pipe from Mcmaster https://www.mcmaster.com/tubing/metal-tubing-for-flow/smooth-bore-seamless-stainless-steel-tubing/id~0-183/ at 150psi I still had to slightly open the loading end of the tube to pre-compress the skirt a bit. Dome head pellets seem to be mo...

Re: New spring powered airsoft
very well made, but isnt it too much for what it is ? i mean you made it more complicated then a Ak firearm machinegun... witch make it hard to operate in the backyard ....
but it is indeed a piece of mechanics ...., show us some target shooting/soda cans

Re: about accuracy
well it looks like when i clean the barrel after every shoot, it shoot hole to hole by 22 m ( where my target is set ) . So i can see small black particles inside the barrel when accuracy goes crazy. i am in process of cleaning again the airtank , it looks like the particles are from the welding.......

Re: about accuracy
YES, it is exactly like that, unless you shoot on a soup can, or something not very hard. The bb's that I use weigh 1 gram. The light weight of the 6 mm plastic bb's is the light weight, very light for my taste, although I also use those. When I go to shoot in the backyard of my house, I do it abou...

Re: about accuracy
It is logical what it says. A 1/4 "steel pellet weighs almost exactly 1 gram. The mass of the ammunition should influence its rotational speed as it exits the barrel intentionally or unintentionally. The heavier, the more resistance to rotating at high speed. Unfortunately, I only have steel bb's t...

Re: about accuracy
I am hesitant to chime in, seems i have a dissenting opinion. Thank you hectmarr, language is not something I study, and your post even in translation is clear and concise. I guess I could not explain properly. As hectmarr stated any imperfection in the barrel will affect performance. Personally I ...
