Eh, not bad, but nothing great either. I've haven't seen that type of piston used in a hybrid, but I also don't see the benefits of it.

I think part of the problem may be your setup. With a barrel significantly larger than the valve and a really light projectile you have a setup that is hypersensitive to valve flow rate.
