Haha. Wow, I can tell the kiddies from the real men in this forum. Don't get me wrong. I don't want to insult moderators or anything, but wow, jumping down my throat for a distance, maybe there is something more productive you could be doing...

Yeah You see, wer are in a thaw right now. So Everything is frozen and/or damp but it is 60 degrees out. I'm am starting work on my smaller cannon as we speak.

Ok, Well this afternoon I to a trip to a little pnd by my house and hammered out a 4 inch thick piece of Ice. I used a hammer and screwdriver to form it to fit snugly down the barrel. A little mapp gas and Blam!!! That 3 pound chunk of ice rocketed about 100 yards. It was still in its upward path ...

Ok, Heres my update.

I got rid of the 1.5" and now I use a 4">3" reducer and about a 2.5 foot long 3" barrel

AND

Instead of using screws from either side i for made a metal box to make a nice big spark. This is inserted directly into the chamber and the wires are threaded through the screw holes ...

I recently built my first combustion cannon and I have some trouble with it.

I did a test run, with no projectile inserted, to see if it actually worked. NOPE!

I have a 2' X 4" chamber with a 4' X 1.5" barrel. With 2 screws through the rear, almost touching. Like they should.
