look under irrigation sipplies in the yellow pages for the sprinkler valves

are you going to have a spring under the bbs or is the magazine going to be pointing upward??

ive modded valves with guide rods just drill the hole off to one side so it dosent interfear with the spring or guide rod

ive even cut the flow adjuster off and filled the hole with epoxy (i left the guide rod in) and that valve works fine

i saw a pic of 1000 !! sparklers going off at once (huge flash then a mushroom cloud) and theyre not as lame as i thought

ive tried the bike valve thing i had valve extenders which are made of plastic not metal like the valves so you can cut them down so its just the pin sticking up.
it worked ok but not quite as good as a proper blow gun valve

i dont know if you have this shop in america but we have clark rubber here in australia which sells anything made of foam or rubber and they have heaps of different sizes and thicknesses as well

the idea does sound possible with the gamo hunter 1250 air rifle the spring has around 100lbs of force behind it and that gets up to 1250fps so with a 2" diameter piston at 100 psi i could get over 400lbs of force behind it!!! but i probably will get problems with the sound barrier but im pretty ...

and also rna_duelers im from australia too if your looking for metal tubing around that size have a look at a hobby shop they sell every size from 1mm to around 15mm in aluminium or brass i bought some for my bbmg ...

ive come up with an idea... its like a spring piston gun exept instead of a spring at the back of the piston is conected to another 2" piston with a solenoid valve and tank behind it...
in a normal air rifle the piston only has to move at 41 fps to get the pellet going at speeds of around 1000 fps ...

nice....that gun reminds me of something ive seen on a movie how did u get the sights??? do you need a gun licence because i want to put sights on my bbmg as well

P.S. bunnings is expensive i ended up spending nearly $90 australian
on a simple combustion cannon but it did have 3 changable barrels tho

its old and i think the nearest gunshop will just take it and fine me for still having it but i did google it and found a few sites that say how to make bowstrings i just need to find some dacron ??? its some kind of string i think any ideas????

i have found an old powermaster crossbow in my grandpas shed with no string on it

a 2 1\2" chamber would be too big unlessyoure going to have a 20 foot barrell on the gun iusually have a chamber 2 times the size as the barrell(depending on how long the chamber is) so 1 1\2" would be plenty
