Re: Spark Rail
It's all sorted, sorry for the late reply I don't get notifications for some reason and have to check my posts for additional comments. And yes a three terminal igniter for a bbq but I managed to sort it out, due to the length of the rails and the fine lines between earthing and not it favored one r...

Spark Rail
So, I have assembled two spark rails both with two gaps, outside of the chambers wired up and connected to 3 point electric ignitor all gaps spark very efficiently, however when inserted into chambers the sparker favors one rail over the other. There are no earthing issues I'm aware of. Both rails d...

Re: Wires and Walls.
Thank you for the suggestion, I'll definitely go with the metal epoxy.
And I will be upgrading the cannon over time but for now it'll just be a base model that operates and build onto that. Spark plugs will come in due coarse.
I did not occur to me I could tap into a cylindrical wall.

Wires and Walls.
Hello Fellas, GGBG here. I have done my own research to no avail and was curious how others (if at all possible, neatly and safely) feed wire through a curved surface (chamber) and have it sealed. I know there are cable grommets but they aren't curved and to my guessing they won't seal unless screwe...

Re: MAPP Gas Safety
Awesome to hear, and no it won't be a pre mixed source; Gas into metering system up to 3 bar than purged into chamber containing regular air.
I started doubting it all because I spoke to some plumbers who are obviously qualified and took safety way to far and said no to everything really.

Re: MAPP Gas Safety
Hello All, I have done my own research, reached out to others yet I have no definitive answer, I also find forums confusing and couldn't get an exact straight answer here so I'm reaching out some more. I am half way through assembling my first steel cannon and have been told not to compress acetylen...

Hello Spudders, Please excuse my ill knowledge of the website - First post (however onto forth cannon so I have some experience) I have searched what I could with no success, not quite sure how to word it to begin with, the title is the best I can do. - Basically have a spring retained valve within ...
